My newest knitting projects are:
"Cross Country Socks", Pattern by Ingrid. It is free and also available in english! These are really great Socks and perfect to use yarn in solid colours if you have some.

Also, I started to knit a pair of Monkeys from Knitty.

And here are my "Manresa Legwarmers" - I'll give them away as a present to a friend of mine, but here's me modeling them:

Wow! I am in awe of your knitting skill. You are so talented! I love the peek at your in progress socks and am speechless seeing those legwarmers. Beautiful!

You know, knitting is really not that hard. It's much slower than patchwork and quilting, though. I really love patchwork because of the quick results. And because of the colours, definitely.
If you like this stuff, just give it a try! It's really possible to knit such things even if you are a beginner. (like me)
