Nr. 81 - Windflowers

mein midget aktuell

Here are they all.

Today is the 63rd day after quitting smoking. I feel wonderful.
No craving at all the last week.
It seems to me that I am getting more sensitive and emotional, though. This has nothing to do with "nicotin detox" because that is long over. I think this is just a new "normal self" evolving.
years ago I discussed with a fellow pagan witch the role of the tobacco spirit in people's lives. She said that in exchange for your freedom, the tobacco spirit gives you things. Only that I never knew what I got from the tobacco being, because I became addicted to it during adolescence and I really can't tell what parts of my adult personality came just from becoming an adult and what parts were the presents of tobacco being. Maybe I'll find out now.
Maybe I got a protection shield from it, so that things don't get too near to me. Well now I can protect myself. I don't need that tobacco being any more.

Don't those blocks look wonderful!!!

I have to smile at the D40 instruction book in the picture amongst the quilt blocks...my D40 instruction book lives in my sewing room amongst the fabric and thread! LOL

I now had to smile at your D40 book also living in the sewing room! I didn't read it for some weeks, though - I've been knitting so much that I couldn't learn more about photography.

Those blocks are also so much fun to make and the author of them is giving the patterns to us for free. So cool!

Sorry I got my URL totally wrong in the last comment...so I thought I'd better try again!

Wow! Your midget blocks are fantastic. So many interesting block designs and incredible piecework. I love it!

Congrats on quitting smoking. Bravo!

Wow! Look at all the blocks. Wonderful!

I love seeing your midget blocks. I am doing the same quilt, but I don't see that anymore blocks have been downloaded after 87. Do you know if the rest of the blocks will be given?

distelfliege - 29. Apr, 21:46

hi beth!

Thank you! I don't know, but I think there will be more. I read on her blog three weeks ago or so, that she had a carpal tunnel surgery and wanted to post some midget patterns soon.
So let's hope :)
