Ajotoro
This weekend I dived into the sounds of the latest Dikanda Album, "Ajotoro". Dikanda is a folk band from Poland and they play world music from all over the east of Europe and beyond.
Their singer and frontwoman, Ania Witczak, is fantastic.
My first acquaintance with Dikanda's music was while I had a cleaning job at a bakery. They had a tape with music from their first album there, and it took me a while to find out the name of this band, because the tape's label was not really easy to decipher.
