Art and Vandalism?

In my "Kiez" (that's some special word in Berlin, which means "neighbourhood") there is a lot of graffiti. I like the atmosphere of urbanity it creates and I like to use it as an oracle - like a deck of tarot cards. Other people have tarot cards, I have graffiti. I don't like all graffiti, but I can't say I like a particular style - it depends on the day and what I'm thinking about, what "speaks to me".
The bridge near the Spree (that's the name of the river) lies between a lot of clubs and at weekends there are always a lot of drunk people hanging around and what they seem to enjoy is shattering glass. I usually return from work at 5 in the morning and I have to ride through all the broken bottles with my bike. I had four punctures this year. I wish that alcohol would only be available in plastic bottles.
This morning the glass panes of a bus stop were broken, and it was safety glass.

I love the look of broken safety glass. It always looks like in a fairy tale or winter landscape - like pieces of ice or snow crystals. Some years ago I collected some of it (from a telephone booth) and used it as a decorative element at home. I have no children, who might hurt themselves, so - why buy glass marbles when you can have these beautiful crystals instead?
