Home blessing and a trip around the city
My bed skirt is progressing - now it's long enough to cover one side - every side is about 2,20 meters long. When I took the first picture, it was already getting darker outside, so these are the real colours of it!

I'll back this with linen fabric, I think, with no batting. After all, it's only a little curtain for the bed. :)
I went to get my camera, which I had forgotten at work, and stopped by a little flea market. A woman sold me one cotton dress and one shirt for 50 cents each. :)
She also sold handknit sweaters and I said, it's a pity that they be sold for a few euros, with that much work that went into them.
I've got so much of that stuff at home, she said.
I've knitted socks some years ago, I said, but I can't knit these intricate patterns you did on that sweater. That must be very difficult to knit!
That's not so difficult, the woman from the next table said, I can do that too, it's Anjour knitting. I get bored by knitting only plain stuff.
I said, I stopped knitting socks after I had moths in my house and It was so heartbreaking to me to see my handknit socks destroyed.
You've got to use lavender, she said.
Yes, I do, but if the moths are already there it's too late for lavender.
Right, then it's too late for lavender.
I took a pic of lavender on my way home:

Lavender and Roses. That's a line of some paul simon lyrics:
"Lavender and Roses, every ending a beginning".
There's a bridge in Berlin, where nearly every afternoon you can listen to musicians playing there - the bridge has wide sidewalks and it's full of people listening to the music. On my way to work I can stop there and enjoy a song or two. These guys were really amazing, they played a very relaxing jazz style. And it happens so rarely that you see a female drummer!
She's got a tambourine with a foot pedal. It's a pity that I cut that off in the picture.
